Berzerker: Weapon of Mass Destruction!

American chrononaut Alexander Kirk was the world's first time traveler. Something went wrong with the inaugural five minute time jump and Kirk landed 300 years into a future where sentient machines had enslaved mankind. Humans had three options: serve as slaves, renounce humanity and become cyborgs or turn renegade or live outside the mega-city Mechanopolis in the nuclear-ravaged wasteland. Kirk chose the latter option and joined the free humans, organizing them into a potent rebel army. He became a rallying point for liberty until he was captured by the machines and executed. The ruling machines found malicious humor in rebuilding Kirk's corpse as the ultimate cyborg killing machine known as the Berzerker, whose sole function was to exterminate the human rebels once led by Kirk.
